So, yeah, I have bronchitis... and an English essay due Monday (but I'm half way done anyways...)
Also, I still need one more volunteer for my Religion project. I know in the last journal it was a bit confusing; basically all you do is copy and paste a note I send you onto a journal on an account that I made for it. So if there are any other volunteers, let me know, 'cause I need it by Tuesday...
Anyways, literally, I just went around the internet and picked these up
(changed the numbers for some to mix it up a bit
) Conveniently, the closest books to me right now are A Storm of Swords and The Book of Negroes, so go ahead and try to guess which is which
and steal this if you want, I don't care.
Grab the book nearest to you and
Turn to page 45. The first sentence describes your sex life in 2012.
"She was only ten, a skinny girl on a stolen horse with a dark forest ahead of her and men behind who would gladly cut off her feet."
"Four men stood guard over us, with firesticks and clubs."
I kept both because they are equally awkward and disturbing out of context and with this question XD
Turn to page 68. The second sentence in the second paragraph is your fortune.
"A girl is too wise. She knows how to avoid a beating."
Turn to page 573, 2nd paragraph, 3rd sentence. This will define your life.
"You have no idea how complicated it is."
Turn to page 18, and find line 4.
"He could hear birds singing, and feel the river moving beneath the boat as the sweep of the oars sent them toward the pale pink dawn."
Turn to page 56. * Find the fifth sentence.
"She was learning to read, Tyrion thought, absurdly.
Turn to page 24, and find line 6, What does it say?
"When that was done, they trimmed back his beard as well."
Turn to page 167, 2nd paragraph down, 7th sentence.
"Hurry, I thought, speaking to them in my mind, or somebody will catch and cook you."
Turn to page 96 and read the eighth sentence on the page.
"Jon felt utterly alone as he stood in his blacks."
Turn to page 394, post the ninth sentence from that page.
"From there and only there, I imagined, would I have the chance to sail to Africa."
Turn to page 123, post last sentence on the page.
"I wanted to rip her hair out."
"The prince sniffed the air again, turning, and then he was off, bounding along the ridgetop with jaws half-parted."
Again, both... just to make it equal... and I like them both...
"My mind is my weapon. My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer, and I have my mind . . . and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." -Tyrion Lannister
